A PRACTICAL GUIDE

Market States & Rule Basics

Learn why open, suspended, cancelled and settled are distinct states in a real sports market.

An event can change

Matches can be postponed, abandoned or corrected. A scheduled listing is not proof that play began, and a partial score is not a final result.

Rules must be explicit

A real wagering service would publish selection-specific rules and settlement policies before accepting a wager. FairPlay does not operate that service.

Our practice picks

Historical practice entries remain in private account history. New entries are paused; past entries were never cash bets or settled against a real-money market.
